Theme: Design in the time of crisis

As all others on the economic playground, architects and designers have to cope with the financial crisis. Are they actually capable of dealing with the economic problems? Are the wishes of the clients being dictated by their financial situation. And how can we manage to surpass the current crisis? These and other questions will be asked and answered in The Architectís Book part VIII, which will appear in May 2011. Author Henk-Jan Hoekjen again will interview numerous well known designers and architects about the aforementioned subject. To be sure, the book will also contain beautiful photoís of the latest architectural projects as well as various design products that were being shown at the furniture fairs of Cologne, Kortrijk and Milan.
